SATO To Donate 5,000 SATO Taps to the Achhi Aadat Campaign, Benefiting 25,000 Individuals.

The Achhi Aadat (Good Habit) campaign, an initiative by JICA, aims to raise awareness among 100 million people about the importance of hygiene practices for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases by the end of 2022. Launched in January 2021 during the National Cleanliness Day, SATO is to donate 5,000 SATO Tap units benefiting 25,000 people.

98% of households in Uganda are satisfied with SATO products, says USAID USHA Survey

USAID Uganda Sanitation for Health Activity (USHA) published a survey report stating that 98% of households who had installed SATO products were satisfied with the product. Users cited friendly prices, reduced smell, no flies and easy to keep clean as the key satisfaction drivers. Several SATO users also favoured SATO solutions because they make the pit latrine look modern and provide a toilet experience that is safe for children.
